"Tragedy, farce & the hooligans", AXENEO 7, DEC 09th - JAN 24th

A humorous and cynical take in a classic Karl Marx's aphorism* __ "Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce." __ this show combines amateur battle reenactments of the war of 1812, field brawls between ukrainian soccer fans and sculptural elements. This installation is part of a body of recent works, that deals with the representations of power and the simulation of aggressiveness.
